We are also a very active group always trying to raise money for charities. This is thru the meetup group and our ELVIS SHAKE RATTLE & ROLL FAN CLUB.

This is recap of our past events since we've started.

July 04 - our first Meetup. Meeting new members and planning events at Denny's Restaurant

August 04 - We celebrated the Anniversary of Elvis at the Hard Rock Cafe.We watched Elvis videos had a great meal and browsed around looking at all the Elvis memorabila. New Members joined us and we had a great group photo.

September 04 - We met at Borders Books. New members joined us. Everyone rec'd a copy of papers from my trip to Graceland for Elvis week. We had a raffle for an Elvis item prize, planned for our Elvis Tree, Teddy Bear Drive and other events. See group pictures.

October 04 - We met at Denny's Restaurant in the party room.Viewed pictures on a pc of our trip to Graceland, Memphis, Tupelo and Beale Street by the request of the Fan Club. Had a meeting for our Teddy Bear Drive and Elvis Tree event.

October 23, 04 - Special event. (Elvis Nascar Cheer) We met at Quaker Steak & Lube in Independence to watch and cheer on the Elvis Nascar car. Everyone had a great meal and we made beaded ornaments for the Elvis Tree. New members joined us.

November 9, 04 - Ornament drop off at Denny's Restaurant. We had a great meal and planned for the Christmas Party.

November 04 - We ate in the deli at Southeast Harley and looked at the Elvis memorabila. Elvis' motorcycle with lots of other great items.We had a meeting for our Elvis Tree and Teddy Bear Drive. New Members joined us.

November 16 - We decorated an Elvis Theme tree which was donated and sold for $275.00 given to Akron Children's Hospital. This was on display for a week with the other trees at Quaker Square in Akron. Viewing is free. See photos.

December 04 - We collected for a poinsettia plant to be placed in the foyer at Graceland for the Hemophilia Foundation.

December 10, 04 - 1st Annual Christmas Party at Donatos Pizza. Everyone brought desserts for our Pizza. We decorated the party room. New Members joined us. Everyone very much enjoyed our special guest, also a new member, Walt Sanders (an Elvis Tribute Artist)who sang for us.His family also attended. We played Elvis cds and videos. See group photo. We collected a $20.00 donation for St. Jude.

January 05 - Elvis Birthday Anniversary & Teddy Bear Drive Kick-Off at the Hard Rock Cafe. We had a great meal and Birthday cake for dessert. We planned for our Teddy Bear Drive box drop off and new events. New members joined us. See group photo.

January 9, 05 -Special event. Elvis January Birthday Tribute Show at the State Theater in Cleveland. This was a great show, with Sean Klush, Ryan Pelton and Justin Shandor.Special Guest was D.J. Fontana with the Sweet Inspirations. We had a table to collect Teddy Bears, get new memberships for the fan club and promote our April 16 benefit show. Our group was 20 of the tickets we sold but more members were there in other seats. This was a fun evening.

January 05 - Was our Teddy Bear Drive and we delivered 100 new Teddy Bears to Akron Children's Hospital in February. We will be delivering 60 new Teddy Bears to Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in March.

February 05 - We had a Valentine Party, had lots of fun, collected more Teddy Bears, watched Elvis videos and played cds.Everyone brought a dessert and we ate at Denny's in the party room. Also Walt and his family joined us and Walt sang some songs for us. New members joined us. Pictures will be posted shortly.

March 05 - is our Elvis Care & Share Gospel Sing.Walt Sanders did a very beautiful and meaningful special Gospel Sing for our group and the Easter weekend. Everyone brought cookies. We had tea and coffee. Our turn out of 21 members was great along with 17 invited from the public.
