Everyone was very welcome sharing in the Christmas spirit. Our special guest Walt Sanders helped make it our best Christmas Party ever. He gave a beautiful sincere tribute to Elvis as he sang to our group. Walt you don't need to wear the jumpsuit like the others, you have true sincere style that no one can match. We all enjoyed it very much. We had a fun Elvis Exchange with the presents under the tree. Thanks Tom for help with the decorating. The food was delicious and some prepared just for our group. We signed cards to send to the soldiers in the hospitals and overseas. We collected $50.00 for our charity PKD.Thanks everyone for your generous donations. A money order be will sent to them. Everyone received a Christmas gift bag and Holiday Door prizes. We had an array of Christmas cookies to enjoy. We celebrated the event by showing the 68 Comeback Special sit down version on the big screen tv. The evening was a lot of fun. Everyone left with a happy heart.

Aloha & A Huge Mahalo to Ginger & Tom for putting together such a wonderful warm way to kick off the holiday season despite the blowing snow & cold weather. Each attendee whether old member or new visitor was greeted and made to feel welcome. It's obvious alot of love and care goes into these events. It was an extra special treat for any Elvis lover like myself to have the pleasure of meeting Walt and his lovely family. His rendition of every Elvis song was an great tribute to Elvis and Walt's incredible talent. He does a mean Neil Diamond too. I'm looking forward to the next possible chance I can get together with these fun folks who are also doing charity work whenever possible. Hound Dog Cafe at Angelo's Pizza in Avon is a feast for the eyes as well as great food for our opu/tummy. It was definately worth the drive from Chesterland to Avon and back - a hui hou-until the next time we meet - Dahmia/Donna Komidar

Had a wonderful time. The event was scheduled to start at 6:30pm. Ginger arrived about one hour before the event started - in order to get the Christmas decorations up. We got the decorations up in no time! We had about 16 people who attended. A new member, Donna, came and had a great time. Walt, his wife Terri and their two sons came, along with Charley, Theresa, Mike, Rich, Carol too. We had four additional people who came - local residents who noticed our flyer about the Christmas party. They came in to join us, and had themselves a great time. We watched the '68 Special on the big screen (Dec. 3 marked the 40th anniversary of the original showing). Walt sang some Elvis Christmas songs ("On A Snowy Christmas Night" among them) and some of Elvis' famed secular songs (and even took some requests). We had an Elvis Christmas gift exchange. Our group also managed to raise $50 for the PKD foundation. It was a great time for all.
